McDonald’s Cycle Center

McDonald’s Cycle Center is a state of the art facility constructed by architects Muller + Muller dedicated to promoting biking to and from Chicago’s Loop and the surrounding area as a commuting alternative in an effort to reduce city traffic and pollution.

The Cycle Center houses a bicycle rental station, as well as storage and repair facilities for cycling commuters and includes other amenities designed to encourage biking downtown. The design and cost of the McDonald’s Cycle Center was completely underwritten by the Millennium Park Foundation using funds from private donors.
